Location: Petrovac na Mlavi, Serbia
Host organisation: MOST NGO
Work Package: WP2 – Digital Skills & Smart City Training
The first international training activity of the Youth4SmartCities project took place in Serbia, bringing together young participants and project partners for several days of learning, collaboration, and exchange of ideas.
The training focused on strengthening participants' knowledge of digital literacy, smart city concepts, civic participation, and youth engagement in local governance. Through interactive workshops, group discussions, and practical exercises, participants explored how digital technologies can contribute to more sustainable, inclusive, and citizen-centred cities.
Beyond developing new competences, the training created a valuable international learning environment where participants shared experiences, built intercultural connections, and worked together on innovative approaches to addressing urban challenges.
The knowledge and ideas developed during the training will contribute to the next phases of the project, including local activities, youth-led initiatives, and the development of practical resources that will be shared across Europe.
The consortium thanks MOST NGO for successfully hosting this important milestone and for creating an engaging learning experience for all participants.
